Read Vision Text:
Who We’re Looking For
- Permaculturalists, digital nomads, builders, artists, solarpunks, preppers, primitive survivalists, healers
- Anyone seeking more freedom, time, and meaning—even if it means trading some conveniences at first
What Matters Most
- Grounded and dependable
- Willing to save and commit long-term
- No money needed yet—commitment and character first
Foundational Principles
- Permaculture as a guiding framework
- Modular spaces that serve different personal priorities
- Shared meals most days (private meals welcome)
- Grow 50–100% of our food in shared gardens (private gardens welcome)
- Resilience funded by services: hospitality, retreats, education, festivals, recreation
- Regular project meetings and honest check-ins
- Max size ~100 people, then create sister communities
- Each person’s goals inform the design
- Independence in food, shelter, and clothing where possible
- Solve and evolve together
What Makes Life Here Different
-Newcomers rest fully and integrate with the community and fall in love with the land before lifting a finger for work
-We strive to shorten our work weeks and free up our time (by sharing resources and burdens in a fair way, by trading some conveniences, and with permaculture efficiency)
-People can live in any dwelling size or quality, or none at all (sleep under the stars) if they want
-Every acre is open for travel & activity, and the keeper of that land has a written mission on how they would like it to serve the community (could be as simple as having walking paths)
-Our door is always open to visitors and our financial freedom is unlocked by serving them
-The right to grow food is preserved by setting aside free accessible (local) growing space for use by individuals
-Diversity provides value; quirky lifestyles are respected
Context & Clarifiers
- We work within the real world and its economics—creatively and on our terms
- We value diversity of background, skills, and ideas
- We’re tech-friendly and pragmatic, aiming for connection and sustainability
- A range of dwelling types is welcome
- Visitors are part of the model and help sustain resilience
- Conflicts are solved creatively without compromising core principles

- You expect comfort right away
- You’re not ready to commit
